Kymco scooter repairs
Agility, Komfy 4 and Midi XLS are examples of Kymco scooters in our catalogue. A number or letter ending can change which model is being discussed, so begin with the full name and your fault description. We can then check the scooter and proposed repair before confirming an appointment.
Standard: typically 5–7 working days; longer-distance visits can take 7–10 working days. Urgent: 3–5 working days. Both are subject to availability and office confirmation; this is not an emergency or roadside recovery service.

Which Kymco model do you have?
Kymco and Kymco Healthcare appear as catalogue labels, but the model plate still needs to match. Keep the 4 in Komfy 4 and XLS in Midi XLS. If the scooter has a different Komfy number or Midi suffix, record it exactly rather than assuming this example covers it.

Keep the number after Komfy. If the plate says Komfy 8, choose that exact model or ask the office rather than selecting Komfy 4.

Include XLS and any plate code. Do not shorten the name to Midi when requesting a repair or checking a catalogue entry.

A fault description is more useful than a guess
Tell us what your scooter is doing
A scooter that will not start, stops unexpectedly or loses range does not always need the same repair. Describe the symptom, when it began and whether the fault is constant or intermittent.
- Photograph the Kymco badge and model plate with all numbers and letters readable, including any Komfy or Midi suffix.
- Say whether the problem occurs when switching on, charging or moving, and record when it first appeared.
- Keep the original charger details and any past repair notes available; do not open the charger or test electrical connections yourself.
If steering, braking or drive feels unsafe, stop using the scooter until it has been assessed. Do not bypass safety switches, dismantle a battery pack or continue charging a damaged pack.
What the repair estimate covers
The estimator shows a home-visit estimate for your address. An estimate is not a diagnosis, confirmed booking or promise that a particular part is available.
Batteries are excluded from the repair estimate. Major replacement parts require a separate quote and your agreement before that work proceeds.
If the battery system is lithium, it is outside our repair and replacement service. Tell the office if the label says lithium, Li-ion or LiFePO4; do not choose a lead-acid version to obtain an estimate.

Can I choose Komfy 4 if my scooter says Komfy 8?
No. Use the exact model shown on the scooter. A related name does not confirm the same parts, batteries or repair scope. If Komfy 8 or another model is not found, use the unknown-model route and provide the full wording for the office to check.
Are you an authorised Kymco dealer or manufacturer repair centre?
We are an independent mobility equipment repair service. This page identifies the brand for repair enquiries; it does not claim manufacturer authorisation or endorsement.
Can I request a repair if my model is not listed?
Yes, send the make, exact model and fault description to the office. A model missing from the examples is not automatically accepted or rejected. We must confirm suitability, and lithium equipment remains outside our service.
Are batteries included in a scooter repair estimate?
No. Batteries are excluded from the repair estimate. If a lead-acid replacement is needed, use the battery-replacement estimator for the applicable bundled home-service options. Major repair parts also need a separate quote and agreement.
