Mobility Minder — monthly service plans

Care for your stairlift or scooter. Made simple.

One monthly service plan for annual servicing, covered repairs and battery care.

For fully working, supported equipment. Covered repairs start after six months; batteries are normally replaced every three years of continuous membership when genuinely worn. Not an emergency rescue service.

Plan details

  • Annual service at your home — the first within six months of joining, then every year
  • Included repair warranty: up to three covered repair callouts a year on top of the annual service, parts and labour included
  • Battery programme: batteries replaced when our health assessment shows genuine wear, normally every three years of continuous membership

Important plan conditions

  • No covered breakdown repairs during the first six months of membership
  • Fully working equipment only, accepted on a short video of it working — no pre-existing faults, nothing that has been sitting unused
  • Eligible supported makes and models are confirmed by our office before the plan starts
  • Our usual parts guarantee applies: 1 year on new parts, 6 months on reconditioned

Our office confirms equipment eligibility and written plan terms before membership starts. Choosing or requesting a plan does not enrol you.

Makes we work on

Choose the name shown on your equipment to see its independent repair guide. A make appearing here does not automatically qualify every model for Mobility Minder; our office confirms plan eligibility before anything starts.

First month free

Had a qualifying repair, service or battery replacement? Your first month is on us.

If you buy a qualifying stairlift or scooter repair, annual service or battery replacement from us, your first month of Mobility Minder is free. After that it's the normal monthly rate shown above.

  • Our office confirms whether your purchase qualifies
  • You're never enrolled automatically — you ask, we confirm
  • Getting an instant estimate on its own doesn't qualify
How it works

From your request to an active plan.

We confirm the equipment is eligible, send the written terms and arrange the first annual service. Covered repairs begin after the plan has been running for six months.

Plan details

What's in the plan, and what isn't.

The rules below apply to every Mobility Minder plan. The written plan terms you receive before joining set out the rest.

Eligibility

Fully working stairlifts and mobility scooters from supported makes and models, confirmed by our office before the plan starts, and accepted on a video of the equipment working fully. Equipment that is dead, stuck, stored unused or already faulty can't join the plan — call us on 087 737 9265 about a repair.

Powerchairs and electric wheelchairs aren't currently offered plans. Lithium-battery scooters aren't currently supported.

Servicing

Your first annual service happens within six months of joining, then every year, at your home by our engineers. See what our standard annual service covers.

Covered repairs

Once the plan has run six months, covered repair callouts include parts and labour under the included repair warranty. Stairlifts: up to three a year on top of the annual service. Scooters: the yearly limit is set out in your written plan terms. Faults that were present before the plan started aren't covered. Parts we fit carry our usual guarantee: 1 year new, 6 months reconditioned.

Batteries

Replaced when our engineer's health assessment shows genuine degradation — a substantial loss of original capacity, not a slight drop in range. Normally every three years of continuous membership; if the plan stops, the three-year clock restarts when you rejoin. How the assessment is done is set out in your written terms.

Scooter punctures

Scooter plans include one puncture repair per plan year. Any extra puncture cover or charges are confirmed in your written terms before joining. Accidental damage isn't covered on scooter plans.

Your rights & the written terms

Mobility Minder is paid servicing with an included repair warranty — not an emergency rescue service, and not personal-injury or compensation cover. It sits alongside your statutory consumer rights, which aren't affected, and doesn't limit any liability we can't exclude by law. Term length, how to cancel, refunds and any limits are in the written plan terms you receive before membership starts.

Questions

Common questions about Mobility Minder.

My stairlift is broken right now. Can I join and get it fixed?

No. The plan is only for equipment that is working fully when the plan starts. Pre-existing faults aren't covered, and covered repairs don't start until the plan has run for six months.

Why do you need a video before accepting the plan?

It shows us the equipment works fully on the day you join, so the plan starts from a known good point. A stairlift running the full rail both ways, or a scooter driving normally, is usually enough — our office will tell you if anything else is needed.

What happens in the first six months?

Your first annual service is carried out within that window. Breakdown repairs are not covered until the plan has run for six months; if something fails in that time call us for a normal priced repair.

When do I get new batteries?

When our engineer's health assessment shows the batteries are genuinely degraded — a substantial loss of original capacity, not a small drop in range. Normally that works out at about every three years of continuous membership. If you leave the plan and later rejoin, the three-year clock starts again.

Is my powerchair or electric wheelchair covered?

Not at the moment. Mobility Minder plans cover stairlifts and mobility scooters only. We still repair and service powerchairs as normal — call us on 087 737 9265.

How do I get the first month free?

Buy a qualifying stairlift or scooter repair, annual service or battery replacement from us, then ask about Mobility Minder. Our office confirms whether it qualifies — you're never enrolled automatically, and an instant estimate on its own doesn't count.

How long does the plan run, and how do I cancel?

The written plan terms you receive before joining set out the term, how to cancel and any refunds. We don't ask you to agree to anything until you've read them.

How do I request a plan, and when does membership start?

Use the request form above or call 087 737 9265 with your make and model. We'll ask for the video, confirm eligibility and send you the written terms. Membership starts only once you've accepted those terms — nothing on this website enrols you.
