Scooter battery replacement, checked for your model
Shorter journeys, a scooter that stops under load or a charging problem can prompt a battery enquiry. They do not prove the batteries are the fault. Start with your exact scooter and explain the symptom so the office can check the right next step.
Use our estimator to compare the available battery options within a bundled home-service estimate. We do not publish a stand-alone battery price list here or promise that one battery fits every version of a model.
Standard: typically 5–7 working days; longer-distance visits can take 7–10 working days. Urgent: 3–5 working days. Both are subject to availability and office confirmation, not same-day or emergency battery assistance.

Find the scooter you actually own
Choose scooter battery replacement in the estimator and search the make and model. Keep extra words and numbers such as Rascal Vantage X, Pride Go Go Elite Traveller or Kymco Midi XLS. A shortened name or a nearby model is not evidence of compatible batteries.
2. Check existing labels
Keep photographs of the existing battery and charger labels available if they can be obtained safely. The office checks battery type, count and physical fit.
3. Review the whole visit
The estimator presents the applicable bundled home-service total, including VAT, for your address. Office confirmation is required before fitting or booking.
Lithium systems are not serviced. A familiar model name is not proof of lead-acid batteries. Tell the office if the label says lithium, Li-ion or LiFePO4. Do not select a lead-acid version to bypass the exclusion, open a sealed pack or continue charging a damaged battery.

Standard and Premium battery choices
Standard
Good-quality AGM batteries at a lower purchase cost, where this option is available for your exact scooter. Compare the complete home-service estimate rather than treating it as a loose battery purchase.
Premium
Higher-quality batteries from established brands, where available. A Premium choice does not automatically mean higher capacity: that benefit applies only when the actual model options show it.
The model name, capacity label or a catalogue entry alone does not confirm physical fit. The office checks the battery specification and installation before agreeing the replacement. Where details are uncertain, a person must confirm the options rather than invent an online battery price.
A home-service package, not a box of batteries
Review the inclusions with your estimate
Your estimate shows the current home-service inclusions and any applicable footnote together with the visit options. Check those details before you submit the enquiry; they form part of the package the office must confirm.
Do not assume a battery-only replacement will resolve another fault. Tell us about previous stopping, damaged charging equipment, changes to the scooter or an unresolved electrical issue. If a separate repair or major part is needed, its scope and cost require agreement.
Home-visit enquiries are available across Ireland’s 26 counties. The office confirms the address, appointment availability and model suitability. If you need a fault investigated rather than a battery replacement, use the scooter repair estimate; batteries are excluded from that repair estimate.
Does losing range prove I need new batteries?
No. Loss of range is a symptom, not a diagnosis. Describe it to the office, including when it began and whether there are other problems, before assuming a replacement battery package is the right service.
Can I fit a higher-capacity battery because it appears in another model?
Do not assume that. Battery dimensions, terminals, type, count and the equipment specification matter as well as capacity. Only consider the options available for your exact scooter, with office fit confirmation.
Will Premium always provide more capacity or a longer battery life?
No blanket capacity or lifespan promise is made. Higher capacity is only relevant where the actual listed option has it and the office confirms fit. Usage, charging, storage and equipment condition also matter.
Can I book a lithium battery repair or replacement?
No. Lithium systems are outside our repair and replacement service. Tell the office the label details if you are unsure of the battery type; do not choose another version to obtain a lead-acid estimate.
